Kerri Barton, MPH, a Harm Reductionist at Portland Public Health, will lead this session, providing vital insights into the overdose crisis in our state. Attendees will learn how to recognize the signs of an opioid overdose and effectively respond using naloxone (Narcan), a life-saving medication now available over the counter. This training is essential for anyone looking to make a difference in their community and save lives. *Naloxone will be provided for free for those attending this breakout session.
